BRIEF HISTORY

• Started golf at age 8 years
• Reduced my handicap in first year from 28 to 12.
• In years after got my handicap down to 1. Played for Scotland in the home internationals at Formby in 1988 and again in the European Team Championship at Lille in France in 1989.
• Turned professional in 1989 joined Turnberry Hotel and worked under the late Bob Jamieson for 7 years passes my exams in 1994 in which I was overall 2nd in Scotland and 7th in Britain that year.
• Moved to Redbourn Golf Club in Hertfordshire England in 1997 as the Head Teaching Professional, stayed there for 8 years teaching all aspects of the game from beginners to low handicappers.
• Moved back to Scotland in may 2005 to take up my post at Roodlea Golf Centre as Resident Professional.

I believe golf should be taught in a relaxed and fun manner, everyone should be able to reach there own goals in golf.

EXPLANAR GOLF LESSONS

THE EXPLANAR

HOW IT WORKSThe Explanar hoop is used in conjunction with a weighted Power Roller. You step inside the Explanar rest the Power Roller on the hoop and take your grip and stance in the centre of the Explanar with the Power Roller in the central ball position. The Explanar is then adjusted to the correct angle in order that you can swing the Power Roller on your optimum biomechanical swing plane.
